A single hearing aid can range from under 1000 to as much as 3000. However, there are a number of possible sources from which you can receive funding such as private insurance or from the government.Through the Government of Ontario – Ministry of Health and Long-term Care, you can receive partial funding for any hearing instruments you might require. In order to qualify for this funding, you must have a long-term hearing loss that requires the use of a hearing aid for six months or more. Cleartone Hearing Centre can have your new hearing aids available within 1 – 2 weeks after your initial fitting. However, if you require them sooner, we provide an express service which can deliver your hearing aids in as little as 3 days.

In order for you to benefit maximally from your hearing aids, they should be worn as often as possible. They can be removed when you go to sleep though. Additionally, hearing aids are generally not waterproof so they should be removed if they are at risk of being exposed to water (e.g. when bathing or swimming).

With the technological advancements available in today’s hearing technology, hearing instruments can be adjusted to meet any changing needs you might have. Cleartone Hearing Centre offers free adjustment services for our clients.

The vast majority of hearing instruments today run on disposable batteries. However, there are some models that use built-in rechargeable batteries.

Cleartone Hearing Centre provides a 2-year manufacturer’s repair warranty with the purchase of any new hearing aid. As well, we offer a 1-year lost-and-damaged warranty.
